What I’ve found is that most dads over 35 really struggle with feeling old, banged up and broken, and they lack the muscularity to feel confident in their bodies.

Many wake up feeling like they’ve been hit by a truck, so they make excuses not to train. Others are simply so wrapped up in their careers and families that time for themselves is very, very limited.

What they really want is to build strength, build muscle, and reduce aches so they can look better, move better, have more energy, and feel younger. On top of that, they really don’t want to model shitty behaviors to their kids.

They think the problem is they’re just getting older and this is what happens as you age so they do nothing, or those that decide to take action try to do what they did when they were in their 20s and it just doesn’t work anymore.

The real problem is that their approach is outdated and for a younger, less busy, pre-dad version of themselves. As such, they either end up with little results for a lot of effort or worse, they end up burnt out, frustrated, and maybe even injured.

Brent Lohmer

Brent grew up in a small town playing hockey, baseball and participating in track and field. But, his main love was skateboarding…and you guessed it – working out!
